1. Sir Sidney Kidman (1857-1935)

2. Gareth Evans (born 1944)

Gareth Evans is an Australian politician, lawyer, and academic. He was born in Melbourne, Victoria, but lived in Katanning during his childhood. Evans served as a cabinet minister in the Australian government and later became president of the International Crisis Group.

3. Jual Bachtiar (born 1957)

Jual Bachtiar is an Indonesian human rights lawyer and activist. Although not originally from Katanning, Bachtiar lived in the town during his childhood due to his family's employment on local farms. He went on to become a prominent advocate for human rights and democracy in Indonesia.
